Plant description of Costus

Saussurea Clarke-Costus is a perennial herb that grows up to  3 m tall, Leaves are up to 6-8 inches long, dark green, and tapered, stem are brown in color, flowers are violet, born in clusters at the branch end, Medicinal uses: to treat skin diseases, cough, allergy.
