Plant description:
Indian Trumpet Tree - Oroxylum Indicum is a small tall tree grow up to 12 m tall, with large leaf stalks, found in deciduous forests throughout India, leaves are oppositely arranged, brownish-green and soft , 2 to 3 pinnate , length up to 150 cm long, ovate, base round and glabrous; flowers are purplish-red, fruits are capsule, purple-brown, up to 90 cm long, flat and sword-shaped so it has a name in English-Tree of Damocles; seeds are numerous, flattened with broad and with white papery wings.
