Plant description of Indian Silver fir

Himalayan silver fir or Thalis patram (Ebies spectabilis) is a large tree, grows to 50 m tall, commonly found in Himalayan region up to 3000m. altitude.

Useful plant parts: leaf

Medicinal uses: To treat cough problems, throat disorders.

Chemical contents: Betuloside, Abioflavonoid , Abiesin, B- sitosterol, Abietane, Betuloside, N- triacontanol.

Medicinal properties: Anti plasmodic, Antifungal, Antibacterial.
