The scientific name of Drumstick plant: Moringa oleifera Lam.

Plant description:

Drumstick plant or Moringa tree-Moringa oleifera Lam is a deciduous, fast-growing tree, can reach at the height up to 12 m and trunk can reach at of 45 cm diameter. The leaves are dark green, feathery foliage, tri-pinnate. The flowers are a yellowish-white found in clusters, which is fragrant. The fruit is a hanging stick, dark green and fleshy, three-sided brown, up to 45 cm, contain globular seeds with a diameter about 1 cm, whitish papery wings.

Leaf juice, coconut milk and jaggery boiled well to reduce the quantity by 1 /3 can used as a herbal tonic.
