Plant description:-

It is an annual herb, grow as a weed in tropical flowering herb, with weak stem, erect and branched, grows up to the height of 60 cm. The leaves are thistle-like, irregularly toothed, ovate, triangular-ovate, 4 to 16 cm long and 1 to 8 cm broad. Flowers are pink, found in branch end in clusters in a long stalk and urn-shaped.

According to Pattern Therapy, the leaf of lilac tassel flower is very similar to the tongue,  so it is useful in the treatments of ENT related problems

Press for the leaf  for juice and mix with garlic and common salt, can apply on head to treat tonsillitis
