Plant Description:

Willow Leaved Water Croton is an evergreen shrub commonly found in the banks of rivers at medium altitudes, it reaches the height of 5 m tall. Flowers and seeds are aromatic. The leaves are shining green, the lower surface is brown in colour and hairy, lance-shaped, and 12 to 20 cm long, and 1.5 to 2 cm wide. Flowers are reddish in color, capsules have 8 mm diameter, and it is hairy.

Medicinal uses:

To treat urinary problems, Digestive problems, the decoction of leaves to be used in the treatment of itching. The root decoction is used as a laxative and diuretic, and it is used in piles,  bladder stone, treat gonorrhea and syphilis and also useful in excess thirst.
