Plant description:

Indian sarsaparilla is a tropical climber vine with flat waxy smooth leaves and a thin stem with lot of latex in both leaf and stem. Flower is small and white in color, seeds contain in pouch like bean with the shape of chilly, with cotton wings to travel in the wind to spread.

Root.

Germanicol docosanoate, cryptanoside, cardenolide, cryptosin.
