Plant description of Soursop -
Soursop-Annona muricata is a small, erect, evergreen tree, grow up to about 4 m tall.The leaves are oblong, glossy dark green, up to 16 cm long and 7 cm wide. Flower stalks are 2 mm to 5 mm long and woody, appear near the leaf stalk, commonly two flowers, petals are thick and yellowish in colour, tapering to a point with a heart shaped base. Fruits are dark green, prickly ovate and can grow up to 30 cm long, ripe fruit flesh is juicy, whitish and aromatic which contain shiny black seeds.
