The scientific name of Soap bark: Acacia caesia (L.)Willd

Name of Spinous Soap bark in different languages:-

English: Palinja

Tamil: Kari indu

Plant description:

It is spiny climber vine, grow in the forest areas. Leaf is Arranged Bipinnately, alternate-spiral, Oblong, apex Obtuse-apiculate, base truncate, margin Entire. Flower are born in heads on terminal panicles; color cream, season October-December. Fruit is a flat, stipitate pod, thin, horned; dark brown in color; contain 10 seeds, fruiting starts in December on wards.
