Peppermint

Scientific name of Peppermint: Menthia sativa

Name of Peppermint in different languages:-

Sanskrit: Mintha

English: Curry mint

Malayalam: Puthina പുതിന

Plant description:

Mints - Menthia sativa is an aromatic, perennial herb, wide-spreading over ground in stolons, stem erect and purplish in color. The leaves are little hairy, arranged in oppositely, oblong to elliptic, often downy, and serrated margin. The flowers are white.
