Plant description of Curry leaves tree:-

Curry laves tree is a small tree, growing 4 to 6 m tall, trunk up to 40 to 45 cm diameter, grey in colour, leaves are pinnate, with 10 to 20 leaflets. Flowers are small white, commonly in clusters, berries are shiny-black, containing a single seed.

Anti-diabetic, hair growth, dandruff, worm infestation, skin diseases, cholesterol, stomach disorders.

Mahanimbine, Koenimbine, Girinimbine Isomahanine, Indicolactone, 2-methoxy-3-methyl-carbazol etc.

How to prepare medicines with Curry leaves tree:

to treat ringworm leaf and raw turmeric grinds well and applies on affected area, for hair falling-curry leave, Kattarvazha(Aloe vera) and Mailanji grind well and apply on head half an hour before bath.

For skin diseases, leaf paste can apply on affected area for half an hour and then wash well

Used as an ingredient in the Ayurveda medicine
