Scientific name of  The Creat: Andrographis Paniculata

Name of Creat-Chiretta in different languages:-

English: Chiretta Plant, king of bitters, Green Chiretta.

Sanscrit: Bhoonimba, Mahatikta, Kirta

Hindi: Kalmegh, Kirata

Malayalam: Kiriyath കിരിയാത്ത്, Nilaveppu നിലവേപ്പ്

Plant description:

 Andrographis paniculata - Bitter king or Kiriyath is a herb found throughout Indian mostly in South-India, it grows up to 1 m. tall, erect, commonly in moist, partially sunny places, stem are slender, dark green, squared in cross-section with little hairy. Leaves are lance-shaped, leaf blades up to 8 cm long by 3 cm broad. Flowers are small, violet colored and spread clusters. The fruit is as a capsule and 2 cm long, contains  yellowish brown seeds. The root is tapering and stout and 7 cm long approximately.

How to prepare medicines

Leaf of The creat plant ground well and makes it as the bolus and allows drying in the shade (avoid direct sunlight) and can use as medicines for many diseases like Malaria, rheumatic complaints etc..
