Plant description of Cotton milk plant
Cotton milk plant -Wattakaka volubilis Stapf is a woody vine, commonly in moist deciduous forests, plains, altitude up to 1300m. The leaves are simple, entire, rounded or ovate, 8 to 15 cm long, 5 to 8 cm broad, leathery and tapered at the apex. Flowers are greenish, in axillary umbels, about 1 cm across and fragrant. The seeds are elliptic, smooth, shining, edges sharp, and white, silky hairs, flowers occur April to September.
