Plant description:
Climbing flax is a climbing shrub. Leaves alternately arranged, tapering at base, obtuse at apex, sized to 3 to 8 cm long and 1 to 3.5 cm broad, petioles 4 mm long and hairy, with branches yellow, horizontal with leaflets towards base. Flowering is April to July and fruiting is August to October. Seeds are globe shaped drupe and orange to red in color when ripe.
