Plant description:
It is a tender stemmed, fast growing, spreading herb, tomatoes, mostly found through Kerala in roadsides, wasteland area, wet areas etc. grow as a weed, the branches usually grow up to 50 cm long. The leaves are oblong or oblong-lanceolate, up to 4.5 cm, and tapered at both ends. The margins toothed, and both surfaces covered with hairs. The apex stalked, about 1 cm in dia., flowers yellow 8 to 12 petalled. the stems are slender, pale brown.
