Ahsokarishtam is an Ayurveda medicine in the form of fermented decoction,  mainly prescribed for treatments of feminine diseases and used as atonic, It is useful to reduce Gynecological disorders and Menstrual problems, inflammation, regulate the metabolism. The main ingredient of Ashokarishtam is Ashoka tree (Saraca Asoca) the name came from two Sanskrit word ‘Aa’ means ‘no’ and ‘Shoka’ which means sad.

Ashokarishtam is prepared by according to the reference of Sahasrayogam.

Dhataki -Woodfordia fruticosa

Musta -Cyperus rotundus

Utpala -Nymphaea stellata

Amalaki -Emblica officinalis

Haritaki -Terminalia chebula

Bibhitaka -Terminalia belerica

Shveta -Santalum album- Chandana

Shvetajiraka -Cuminum cyminum
